The Crack is the structural weakness that appears after a Breach, when the unconstitutional act is tolerated, excused, or left unaddressed by the institutions responsible for enforcing constitutional limits. A Crack does not require new harm; it forms when the first harm is allowed to stand. It represents the shift from a single violation to a compromised system, where the boundary line is no longer firm and the protection it once provided begins to fail in practice.
