I didn’t build USA Protect Your Vote because I foresaw cracks no one else could see. I built it because the cracks were already there — deep, deliberate, and aimed squarely at Democratic voters. I saw a political party with an insatiable appetite for voter suppression, and I refused to sit quietly while people’s voices were being carved out of their own democracy.
So I created a place to push back. A place to name what was happening. A place to defend the vote with clarity and conviction.
And then life hit hard. Finances tightened. Stress mounted. The threat of losing my home in Sparks became real. I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and yes — depressed. The website upkeep slid because survival took priority.
But movements don’t disappear just because their founders need to catch their breath. And when I returned, I didn’t come back as a commentator. I came back as an architect — ready to rebuild the structure with more precision, more intention, and more fire than before.
USA Protect Your Vote isn’t a moment. It isn’t a slogan. It isn’t a hobby. It’s a movement built from righteous indignation, lived experience, and the refusal to let democracy be chipped away without a fight.
