The Democratic Resilience Cycle is the ongoing, self-reinforcing loop through which a restored institution and an engaged public maintain constitutional alignment, prevent future collapse, and strengthen democratic stability over time. It is the culmination of the Civic Transformation Arc — the point where vigilance, participation, transparency, accountability, and institutional integrity feed into one another in a continuous cycle. Resilience emerges only when both sides remain active: the institution consistently upholds boundaries, enforces protections, and operates with transparency, while the public maintains informed oversight, civic engagement, and constitutional awareness. When the cycle is active, early signs of drift are caught quickly, shadow systems cannot easily form, and protection inversion becomes less likely.
