Constitutional Erosion
Definition
Constitutional Erosion is the gradual weakening of constitutional protections caused by repeated retaliatory acts, institutional failures, and unchecked breaches of the Constitutional Boundary Line. It does not occur through a single event but through an accumulation of small harms, tolerated violations, and unchallenged abuses that collectively reduce the practical strength of a right, even while the text of the Constitution remains unchanged.
Why This Term Matters
Constitutional Erosion is what happens when the Constitution still says you’re protected, but the people in power act as if you aren’t — and no one stops them.
